This is a plein air painting I did on the Plaza of Park City Mountain Resort. The resort was closed abruptly on March 12, four weeks prior to its scheduled closing. The town and the resort went quiet and dead. It was a cloudy April day, but at a regular time the Plaza would be crowded with happy and colorful people celebrating the end of the ski season. My only companion on that day was a raven.
This painting is at the Bountiful Davis Art Center, Utah as a part of a plein air competition and show.
